Guarantee RV’s 25th Anniversary Hideout Giveaway wound to a close this weekend with the help of Stanley Cup Champion, Theo Fleury. The lucky Macfarlane family picked the trailer up on Sunday.
“I can’t believe It’s already been 25 years” said sales manager Charlie Cuffley when asked about his thoughts on the event. In Guarantee RV’s 25 year history we’ve had 3 Calgary locations, an Edmonton location, and a handful of co-retailers. Most recently we welcomed Henry Moser RV in Lethbridge to the Guarantee RV family.
As a celebration, and way to give back to the customers who’ve made that all possible management decided to give away a trailer this year. Recently we have been in touch with and sponsored the Victor Movement. Theo Fleury’s Victor Walk’s aim to raise awareness to end Childhood Trauma:
With 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys experiencing trauma, in various forms, before they are 18 years of age, it has become clear that Canadians must rally together to take a stand against childhood trauma. People in communities nation-wide will be doing just that on July 25, 2015, when they join NHL alumni and advocate, Theo Fleury for the second national Victor Walk movement.
The inaugural Victor Walk in 2013 was a huge success, Canada-wide, and now its back for an even bigger campaign. A national movement powered by an Orange Wave of Courage, the Victor Walk will see Fleury and other Victors and supporters, stand up and speak out, giving a voice to those who have been affected by trauma throughout their lifetimes.
In addition to raising awareness, the Victor Walk Movement will also be supporting and raising funds for a new non-profit: Breaking Free Foundation, founded by Theo Fleury and other advocates. The mission of this new organization is “to provide survivors of traumatic life events with the treatment and support needed to reclaim their lives.”

The Victor Walk starts Tomorrow (July 21) and ends Saturday July 25.
The draw was conducted on the morning of Saturday, July 18 and the winners were contacted shortly afterwards. The Macfarlane Family picked up their shiny new Keystone Hideout on Sunday, July 19.
